Meg Ryan's Story
--FOSTER PUPDATE--
Meg Ryan A181453
41 lb. spayed female, approx 4 years old

- goes by the name "Sally" in her foster home. Sally is an amazing dog who is lovable, goofy, and friendly.
- Potty trained and crate trained. Goes into her crate well when guided by a treat;)
- Sally loves to be close. Extremely close. 90% of her time is spent getting as close and as cuddly as possible with her humans and their human guests. She lives to be adored, pet, and given attention.
- Outside Sally loves playing fetch with a tennis ball and have lots of zoomies in the yard. Enjoys walks around the neighborhood and does not pull on the leash. Inside she loves toys and playing tug.
- Extremely food motivated and eager for treats. We believe this will help be very helpful with any future training.
- Had hematoma surgery on her ears and is recovering and healing well! She has been wearing a wrap on her head to protect her ears as they heal and been doing a great job tolerating it.
- We would describe her as having medium/moderate energy. She will need daily walks and play time, but can also chill and relax for an extended amount of time.
- Non reactive to dogs. Has been in vet waiting rooms with multiple other dogs of different breeds and sizes and had no reaction. We believe she could benefit from another dog in the house to learn how "to dog". (With slow and proper introductions of course!)
- Unknown behavior with cats and kids. Like a true terrier she has shown prey drive towards squirrels.
- Overall Sally is an awesome dog and will make an amazing pet for her forever family!

This pet is in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting Meg Ryan, please email foster@friendsofdacc.org with subject line "Meg Ryan A181453"

Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, and $40 for cats payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
