Meg's Story

Meet beautiful Meg! She came from Habersham Animal Control, where she was picked up as a stray. History unknown. But she was severely neglected. She was emaciated and had skin and ear infections. She is blind due to untreated diabetes. We now are treating her with insulin injections twice a day (super easy to do and doesn't cost much!) to keep her blood glucose regulated. She has gained a bunch of weight and is feeling great now! She navigates her world just fine as a blind dog.
Meg is a SWEETHEART. She gets along perfectly with dogs of all sizes and cats as well. She is very well behaved, housetrained, mellow, and easy. She's a quiet old soul who loves to hang out with you. She's a great snuggler, too!
This beautiful girl has been through a lot. We are so happy to be a part of her journey and we hope to find someone who will love and adore her!
If you are interested in Meg please email us! fivefreedomsfarm@gmail.com

Five Freedoms Farm's Adoption Policy
We strive to make our adoption process easy! We begin with your email to us inquiring about a potential pet to adopt. From there, you can fill out an adoption application on our website (www.fivefreedomsfarm.org). Then we will schedule a time to chat over the phone and arrange a time for you to come and meet the awesome pet you are interested in. If everything goes well, you can take your new baby home with you the same day! We will give you all of the animal's medical records and have you fill out a one page adoption agreement. If for any reason it ends up not working out, we will always take the pet back! We want to ensure a good match so that both you and your new companion are happy.
