Paws First's Adoption Policy
The Adoption process is the same for all dogs and all applicants complete the same steps. Meetings are only done after a family has an approved application. Step 1: Look at the Adoptable Pets and find a dog that looks like a great match for your home. Step 2: Email through the dogs profile. The websites are updated daily, so all information and pictures will be the most current available. You will receive an email response with some additional adoption information. Step 3: Reply to the email and request an Application be emailed to you. Applications are only sent upon request. PFR does not have an online application on any platform. Step 4: Complete and return the application following the instructions on the top of each application. Don't worry, it is easy and only takes a few minutes! PFR will never ask for your social security number or other sensitive information. It typically takes 1-2 Business Days (Mon-Fri) for an application to complete review. If there are multiple applications for one dog, applications will be processed in the order they are received. Step 5: You will be contacted by a volunteer and proceed from there! *Each rescue on Petfinder.com is a separate entity and PFR does not accept applications from other rescue groups. Any rescue with a similar name to Paws First Rescue is a complete coincidence and are not linked to PFR in any way.
