Meet Stevie – The Shy Dreamer with a Heart of Gold's Story

Stevie is a quiet, gentle soul who takes her time learning to trust. She’s shy and reserved at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to shine. She loves roughhousing with her big sister, Janis, and is slowly finding her confidence in the world.

Her start in life was anything but easy. At only three months old, Stevie and her sister were discarded, sick, and terrified in an overcrowded shelter. Skin and bones, they clung to their kennel mate, Ken, for comfort and protection amid the chaos. They were overlooked by everyone and were on the euthanasia list when Woof Tribe Sanctuary & Rescue stepped in to save them.

Now safe, fed, and cared for, Stevie is thriving. She’s still timid with new people, but she’s eager to learn and build trust at her own pace. She’s a docile, gentle puppy with a soft heart and big dreams of one day belonging to someone who will love her unconditionally.

Stevie would do best in a calm home with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. A confident dog companion would be ideal to help guide her as she continues to come out of her shell.

If you’re looking for a dog who will reward your patience with lifelong loyalty and love, Stevie may be the one for you.
