Meet Lexie - Sweet Gentle Senior - Medical Care Grant Funded!

Sweet girl Lexi was dumped along the side of a busy street and rescued by a local police officer. She was missing most of her fur on her legs, but with the foster's care, she is healing and looking so much better! She is around 8 - 10 years old and almost blind, but gets around great and will come when you call her name. Lexi is housebroken and will go to the door when she has to go potty or if you say "outside" she knows it's potty time. She is very friendly, loves her people and is gentle, calm and quiet. She gets along well with other dogs and also cats. She will make a great addition to your family. <br/><br/>** Exciting news! ** Thanks to the generosity of the Petfinder Foundation sweet Lexie has been selected for a Senior Pet Adoption Grant! Funds from this grant will be used to assist a new family with Lexie’s future medical care after she finds a forever home. All dogs typically show on Saturdays at the Petco in Clear Lake as well. 2410 Bay Area Blvd near Space Center. <br/><br/>Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
