Meeko is a 2-year-old, 42-pound mixed breed with a sleek black coat and expressive eyes that stop you in your tracks. He came into rescue in March of 2024 after being found as a stray, and while he was estimated to be just a puppy at the time, he's grown into a happy, affectionate young dog who is more than ready for a fresh start.<br/><br/>He loves being petted, adores his toys (truly - toys are his happy place), and still has that fun puppy spirit balanced with a growing sense of maturity. Meeko does well with routine, sleeps through the night in his crate, has no known medical issues, and knows how to sit - even if his excitement sometimes makes his wiggly butt take over.<br/><br/>He can be a little timid around new people at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet and friendly personality shines.
