Medic--LOVES HIS TEDDY

Medic…his new name……because his foster family kept yelling Medic and he would come running! What a hoot! Medic ended up at a local shelter where he was brought in as a stray but not reclaimed. We certainly can tell he belonged to someone who invested some time into training him. Medic is approximately 8-9 years old young and still enjoys playing and is 14 pounds. He loves his Teddy Bear! Medic can be very comical and enjoys the extra attention. Medic sleeps through the night and can be pretty low maintenance. He can run and play with the big dogs and is confident. He is not a fan of the crate although sometimes he walks right in. He seems to be house trained without any accidents. <br/><br/>If you know the Terrier breed, then you know they can be headstrong and it’s best to manipulate them and outsmart them when they don’t want to do something. We are looking for a small dog savvy person and probably not a home with children. <br/><br/>We think he would thrive with a retired couple or someone who just needs a little buddy! He came to us dirty and matted and we are working on getting him looking dapper. He didn’t love us trying to remove the mats from his legs.
