Meet Mechy
Mechy showed up at a rural Texas shelter, and his video captured the hearts of many. He looked heartbroken and like he’d given up. Our foster in the area kept an eye on his post, and when no one came through for him, she picked him up before he ran out of time. He has flourished in her care, turning into a gorgeous shiny dark chocolate boy. He completes heartworm treatment next week, and will be ready for a home of his own. He’s fostered with several other dogs, and is the bottom of the pecking order. He prefers cuddling with his human to playing with the herd!
