Meatloaf's Story

Meatloaf ( female) was hit by a car at a local Zaxby's and drew a crowd in the parking lot. She was immediately taken to a local vet and evaluated. She was found to have a large laceration in her groin, groin and abdominal bruising and a broken hip. She had surgery for her hip, a FHO--femoral head ostectomy) and her staples just came out. She is up walking and bearing weight on that leg and doing remarkable well. She is expected to make a full recovery. She is 2 years old, a Lab/Shepherd mix, up to date with shots and heartworm negative. She was not spayed at the time of surgery due to her groin/abdominal bruising, but she will be spayed and microchipped. Very friendly and sweet , good on a leash and making great progress.
