Since not all of our pets come into the store each day, adoption meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment.<br/><br/>MEET MEATBALL (aka the goodest boy who understood the assignment)<br/><br/>Let's talk about a pup who took his rescue pep talk very seriously...<br/><br/>This is Meatball, a 41⁄2-month-old Shepherd/Lab/Pit mix who started life in a way no puppy should—found on the side of the road in a Walmart bag with his siblings. <br/><br/>But don't let that beginning fool you... because this boy said, “Watch me turn this story ALL the way around.”<br/><br/>And wow... did he deliver. <br/><br/>From day one we told him:<br/><br/> Be sweet<br/><br/> Be gentle<br/><br/> Be smart<br/><br/> Be the kind of dog everyone dreams about<br/><br/>And Meatball said...<br/><br/>“Say less.”<br/><br/> Walking nicely on a harness<br/><br/> Great manners (for a baby, he's basically a tiny gentleman)<br/><br/> Perfect play style with other dogs<br/><br/> Loves EVERY human he meets<br/><br/> Snack motivated = training on easy mode <br/><br/>He's got that just-right energy—ready to play, ready to learn, and absolutely ready to be your best friend.<br/><br/>Honestly... this boy didn't just listen...<br/><br/>he understood the assignment and turned in extra credit.<br/><br/>We're still polishing up his house manners (he's a baby after all), but he's already proving he's the total package.<br/><br/> Neutered & ready for adoption: March 31, 2026 <br/><br/>If you're looking for a pup who will grow up into that once-in-a-lifetime dog...<br/><br/>the kind that people stop and say, “WOW, he's amazing...”<br/><br/>Yeah... that's Meatball. <br/><br/>Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed. Adoption fee is $300.00<br/><br/> We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things. We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.
