Meatball's Story

Meatball is a six-year-old beagle mix who currently weighs forty-four pounds. Like a lot of us, he's trying to shed a few of those pounds. I'm not sure what he's mixed with, maybe some type of shepherd? We all know that the mystery mutts are the best. Meatball is as sweet and silly as his name suggests. He was found as a stray in southern Indiana, and quickly became a favorite at the shelter he was at. He recently made the trip up to be a part of Rover Rescue, and would love to find a family of his own for Christmas. Meatball is learning how to be a suburban dog. I'm not sure if he's spent a lot of time in the house, but he appears to be housebroken. He was recently neutered and still has a tendency to want to mark some things that hopefully will subside soon. Meatball is very playful and would be great with another dog that likes to play or with some kids. He enjoys toys and bones. He'd love to have a backyard to run around in as well as to have someone take him for walks. Meatball is looking for a person or family to help him become the bestest boy he can be. He'll be a wonderful new friend! If you'd like to hear more about Meatball, please call Teri. *This dog is being fostered in Cary, IL. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $275.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive
- deworming
