Meadow's Story
Meadow is an absolutely delightful senior girl with the sweetest soul and the most charming expressions. At around 11 years old, she proves that age is just a number — she’s still quite active, especially when there’s snow involved! That’s when her playful side really shines.

Meadow is wonderfully independent but still enjoys being near her people. She’s not overly excitable and has a calm, steady presence that makes her such a joy to be around. Whether she’s out enjoying nature or simply laying back and watching the world from her yard, Meadow is perfectly content just being with her person.

She does great with other dogs of all ages. She’s lived peacefully with adult dogs and has even shared her space with puppies who adored her — and she loved them right back. Her interactions are gentle and respectful, just what you’d expect from a lovely senior lady.

Because Meadow isn’t fully house trained yet, she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that accidents may happen as she settles into a new routine. She does require a tie-out and should always be supervised, as she can be a bit of a digger if given the opportunity. A securely managed yard will be important for her safety.

Meadow’s experience with cats and crate training is unknown. As for kids, she would likely do best in a home with respectful children ages 5 and up who understand gentle boundaries — she’s not a fan of being fallen on or having her tail or fur pulled.

Health-wise, Meadow does well on a grain-free whitefish diet and would benefit from regular walks and light adventures that let her enjoy the outdoors without overdoing it. She’s happy to explore, but she doesn’t need to run marathons — she’s earned the right to take life at her own pace.

The perfect home for Meadow is one that understands and appreciates seniors: a family or person who enjoys leisurely walks, peaceful companionship, and quiet moments together. She would love nothing more than a home where she can explore nature, relax in the yard, and soak up love from her human.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving, low-drama companion with a heart of gold, Meadow just might be your perfect match.

Interested in adopting?
Please complete and submit an adoption application.
