McCoy is one of the sweetest, gentlest pitties we've come across here at the Berkeley shelter. With his soft golden eyes, and his I-want-to-curl-up-in-your-lap affectionate demeanor, McCoy is guaranteed to find a way into your heart in no time. This boy is a pleasure to take out on a walk: he ambles along at his walker's pace, stopping every now and then to sniff an interesting-smelling bush or patch of grass, and hardly pays any attention to other dogs along the way. At the doggie-level water fountain, McCoy is at first apprehensive at the splashing water, but with a little encouragement, he soon begins to lap up the water with enthusiasm, soothed by the presence of his volunteer companion. McCoy's mild-manner and his endearing gentle affection (for McCoy is never too pushy with his loving ways) make him this volunteer's number one shelter pittie!
