Maya's Story

Maya is a red pocket-pittie mix. Unfortunately this little cutie pie does not photograph well and her picture does not do her justice. (Additional photos coming) She was recently in a foster home and her foster loved her but she was returned due to an illness in the family. Maya is good with people and kids but not with other dogs and should be the only dog in the home. Maya is housebroken, crate trained and very obedient. She is quiet and loves sitting by the window and watching the world go by. She takes treats gently and will give you her little paw. Maya knows the following commands: Sit, Drop and Come. She is looking sad these days since being returned to the shelter after being in a foster home and really needs a loving home as soon as possible. You will fall in love with this precious girl. ADOPTION PROCESS AND POLOCIES: The first step in adoption process is to fill out an application and arrange a meet and greet with the adoptable to see if it is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. If a perfect match is found we will then do a background check and a home visit will be performed. An adoption contract will need to be signed, along with an adoption fee.
