Maya is about one year old and truly the sweetest girl you'll ever meet! She has a gentle, loving personality and absolutely adores cuddle time. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be close and soak up affection, Maya is your girl.<br/><br/>She's doing wonderfully in her foster home--Maya is potty trained and does a great job letting you know when she needs to go outside. She's also comfortable in her crate, settling in nicely when her foster is away and sleeping soundly in it at bedtime.<br/><br/>Maya is dog friendly and is also doing well learning to walk on a leash. She's eager to please and continues to pick up new skills as she settles into home life.<br/><br/>With her sweet nature, good house manners, and love for snuggles, Maya is ready to make one lucky family incredibly happy.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. Big Paws of the Ozarks's Adoption Policy
All adopters must fill out an application on our website with all necessary information. From there, our staff will conduct a phone interview and answer any questions regarding the dog or the adoption process. Once approved, a meet and greet is scheduled with the family, dog, and dog's foster family. This is the time where other pets can be introduced. If the meet and greet goes well, we can send the dog in a trial adoption for a few days to make sure it is a perfect fit for everyone. From there the adoption is finalized through payment of the adoption fee and transferring of vet records.
