Maya's Story

Meet Maya! She was adopted as a puppy but due to life changes, she needs to find a new home. Her family has grown... and Maya is not a fan of the new 2 legged family members. She will require a home with no small children. She is 8 years old and house broke. Here is what we know about Maya.

Likes: Playing fetch SHE LOVES HER BALL!! Running, going on walks, loves sleeping on a bed or her dog beds. Loves looking outside but will bark at anything passing by, she will stop if you tell her too though unless it is a FedEx truck. She loves treats and knows a few tricks like: sit, stay, sit pretty, lay down, spin, and up. Loves car rides and sticking her head out of the window. Likes to splash around in a paddling pool during the summer.

Dislikes: bikes, moving vehicles while walking, sitting around too long she is very active, barks if she is kenneled too long or outside too long. Not a cuddler but will sleep close to you.

She does go to Daycare quite a bit and does get along with smaller dogs more than bigger dogs. A proper dog introduction would be needed.

During the day she stays in the house and as long as we keep everything out of reach she just sleeps on her bed and looks outside. We have never kenneled her during the day but we do kennel her to sleep at night. She is also used to a fenced in yard and has never known anything else.

Maya is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $135.
