May was discovered wandering the streets of Lamont, CA, and was taken in by Kern County Animal Services just before Christmas. She spent time at the shelter, hoping for an adopter who never arrived. Despite having a dedicated advocate fighting for her, May’s situation became dire as she faced the possibility of euthanasia after numerous close calls.
