May's Story
May came to the shelter as a stray, scared and unsure, with signs that she hadn’t had an easy time on her own. She arrived with urine staining, a sore on her tail, and some discomfort putting full weight on one leg — but despite it all, her sweet spirit is shining through more each day.
At first she was too nervous to leave her kennel, but gentle baby talk and patience quickly won her over. Once outside, May showed just how loving she is, happily soaking up pets and handing out kisses to everyone she meets.
May has blossomed into quite the puppy! She is currently in our 12 week prison training program, learning her manners to prepare her for her new home. Apply to meet her today!
