He absolutely loves to snuggle and bonds quickly with his people.

Maxx is affectionate but has a unique personality - think "cat-like." He enjoys attention but doesn't like excessive petting and will let you know when he's had enough. He has not bitten his foster, but he has given warning signals and did try to nip during nail trims. Because of this, he'll need a patient adopter who will go slow, respect his boundaries, and continue working on positive handling.

Maxx thrives on attention and would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can truly be the center of his person's world.

He is:
Neutered
5 years old
9.5 lbs
Full of personality

Adult-only home (no children)

Maxx will do best with an owner who understands small dog personalities and is comfortable providing structure, gentle correction when needed, and lots of love and affection when he's doing well.

With the right person, Maxx is going to be a loyal, entertaining little companion who will keep life interesting.

If you're looking for a smart, spunky little shadow, Maxx Rebo may be your guy!

Tired Dog Rescue adoption fee includes all sets of vaccinations, heartworm test, fecal exam, spay/neuter and microchip. We also recommend that you research the breed that you want to adopt. Ask yourself....Can you afford the cost of a high maintenance dog such as a Cocker Spaniel or Shih-tzu etc? The grooming costs are about 50.00 every 6-8 weeks. Are you in a position to adopt a puppy which will require training? Can you afford the medical costs that might be involved in adopting a senior pup? We want every adoption to be for life so please think about what you can and what you are willing to do before considering each pet. If you are unsure please contact us and we can help answer any questions.
