Maxx's Story

Maxx is a 2yr old chi mix who came to us extremly imaciated. He came from a hoarding case where he was one of many dogs who had share what little food there was. On top of being under fed Maxx was also having an IBDflare up when he came to us. He needs to stay on a more bland diet and may need to be on a steroid twice a week for life. He is doing well on his current course of treatment and is a very happy boy.
Maxx is good with other dogs and is potty trained. However, he will use potty pads if needed. Max would do better in a home without young children. Their quick movements in energy level are a little too much for him. He would most likely be OK with kids 12 and older.

Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation. See a pet that you want to adopt or foster?
