Maximiliano (Max)'s Story

Maximiliano was found wandering the streets as a stray in Stanislaus County in July and was taken to the shelter. He was not microchipped and his owners did not come in to reclaim him. The shelter described Max as "very sweet, high energy dog. Loves the pool and running around the yard. Walks great on the leash. Needs some training. Has a tendency to jump on people. Did good with a female dog and great off leash with a male dog". Although he was a "staff favorite", by Sept, he was scheduled to be euthanized. With no time to spare, Max was saved and is now being fostered in Dixon. He has a couple of two-legged brothers and a four-legged sibling to hang out with along w/some kitties. FOSTERED IN DIXON, CA
