Maxie's Story

At five months old this pretty pup was at a shelter ready to be euthanized with her sister. There was no way our rescue could let that happen, so we pulled Maxie and her sister from the shelter and brought them to NJ.

Maxie is housebroken, takes food gently and is fairly calm. Loves other dogs and fine with cats. She LOVES to be outside. She is a slow good eater with no food or toy aggression. She is learning to be crated but when not crated she sleeps nicely in the foster's living room.

If you think Maxie can be a great addition to your family, please complete our application on our Home Free Animal Rescue website. You will not be disappointed.

Our Mission
A WORD ABOUT FOSTER HOMES FOR RESCUE DOGS Foster homes offer a bridge between the horrific conditions of a kill shelter and a new loving forever home. Without foster homes, we would have nowhere to put the dogs we rescue. Fosters love each pup that comes through the door as if it were their own, and then are happy to see ...
