Maxie

Hi, my name is Maxie (Max for short) and I am looking for my forever home. I am a small, one year old terrier. My ideal forever home would be a lot like my foster home, minus the two big dogs that keep putting me in my place. I get crazy excited when I am around other dogs, so I think a home where I can be an only dog might be best. I like people and especially ones like my teen-age foster boy who plays flirt pole with me and runs with me to tire me out. I get too nervous and excited around little humans, but love to hang out with older kids.<br/> <br/><br/>I am very smart and have been learning some commands so I can have manners. I have a lot of energy and sometimes need to take a time out in my crate to calm down when I get too over stimulated. I am ok with sleeping in my crate all night. I don't like being alone and bark for a while when my humans leave me. I love frozen Kong treats and bully sticks.<br/><br/>I hope I find my forever home with someone who will love and accept me for who I am, and make me feel like I belong.
