Max - Urgent's Story

MAX IS IN A TEMP FOSTER HOME IN LA, CALIFORNIA. BUT HE STILL NEEDS A FUREVER HOME ASAP!!!!

Max is a 3 years old German shepherd. Fully trained and a gentle soul. He was in west valley shelter for so long that unfortunately shelter decided to euthanized him. To save him volunteers find him a temporary foster home just in the nick of time. Please contact me if you can adopt him and save him. He is adorable and deserves a second chance.

Shelter videos & notes when he was there: https://fb.watch/BMnwFRxtXc/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://fb.watch/BMoKznwrJC/?mibextid=wwXIfr&fs=e

Shelter Notes: Max has spent one-third of his life at the west valley shelter!!! But what the volunteers have seen over the nearly one year since he has arrived is a magnificent journey. He was scared and aloof at the beginning and he has become a sweet and friendly, playful happy boy. But he has been at the shelter for too long now. He is a large and high energy dog who needs an active household. He does well with other dogs and is social with people. The volunteers have not seen him with little kids but the teenage volunteers adore him and he loves them. He loves the kiddie pool. He knows some commands. It's time for this boy to go from kennel to couch.

Please, please contact Bonnie at 818-430-5959. Transportation information is available and possible transportation assistance to a good loving home. Time is critical to find him a home due to the foster is only short term.

The Soulful Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
We have been using a website for the past seven years called rescueme.org this has been a successful venue for us although their site is not always operating which we just experienced all of our ads being down for 30 days. Our process is we first speak to the potential adopters then they are asked to fill out an application we strive to match the dog in question to their home. Make sure our dog is dog friendly if they have other pets or cats. We either do a home check or pictures are provided to us of the home the yard and the fencing. We do our best to ensure ourselves and the Pat this is a loving appropriate home for them. We do take the dogs back if they don’t work out in the adopters home.
