Meet Max in MD - Soaks Up All the Attention He Can Get!
Max is a gentle boy who loves giving and getting affection from his humans. He has the classic Pyr look, white with some faint badger markings. His favorite thing is collecting pets from people. And when he wants some extra love, he brings out the “Pyr paw.” Max is leash-trained and crate-trained. He is friendly with people. He started as an outside dog, and still enjoys being outside most of all, but he’s learning to love the pleasures of inside life. He is okay with other dogs, after an initial bit of excitement on meeting, and is indifferent to cats and chickens. He is looking for an active family, possibly including children, who will make him a part of their world and be patient as he learns about new situations.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
