Max's Story
Introducing Max! Max is an 8 year old German Shepherd who was surrendered to the shelter when his owner changed jobs and could no longer properly care for him. He is underweight at 59lbs and could stand to gain about 10lbs. Max had full senior bloodwork and is a healthy guy! He is currently taking antibiotics to treat kennel cough that he caught during his time at the shelter.

Max is a wonderful dog who is great with other dogs large and small. He currently lives in a foster home with children 4 and under and is very well behaved around them. He has reportedly lived with cats in the past. Max is a quiet dog who loves to lay by your feet or rest his head in your lap. He is housebroken but likes to go out every 5 to 6 hours. He enjoys wandering around the fenced in yard at his foster home and loves to lay out in the sun. He walks well on a leash and loves to go on car rides. He has a wonderful appetite and accepts treats gently. Max is a fantastic dog who would make a wonderful member to just about any family!

If interested in Max, please complete an application at www.seniordoghaven.org.
