Max's Story
Meet Max!

Sometimes, life changes in ways our pets never expected. Max originally found his home through Sequoia Humane Society back in 2022. Sadly, his mom passed away at the end of 2025, and the family member who stepped in to care for Max is no longer able to do so. Through no fault of his own, Max is once again looking for a forever home.

Max is a sweet boy who loves beach days, forest adventures, and his beloved Yoda stuffy. He spent about a week in a foster home, where his foster family reported that he was a little clingy-which is completely understandable after so much change and loss in his life this year.

Despite everything, Max is still the loving, gentle boy everyone knows him to be. He knows some basic commands, does well with other dogs and kids, and would love a family who can give him the stability, patience, and love he deserves.

Max has already known what it feels like to have a home. We'd love nothing more than to help him find that feeling again.
