Max's Story
Meet handsome Max! He is a 65 lb pit mix, between 3-6 years old, heartworm negative, neutered, UTD. His foster family says what an easy, sweet boy he is. Max is house trained! He doesn’t chew things up. He was chained up and attacked by another dog. So he gets along well with the ladies (female dogs) but is not a fan of other males. He was fine with a cat in his first foster home. He loves to chew on toys and chase tennis balls. He has learned how to trade his toys for treats. He is better off fed separately, although he can take treats with other dogs just fine. His tongue often hangs out because of his missing teeth.
