Max is a sweet, loving young dog who blossomed with confidence during just two days out of the shelter, he was happily greeting people and kids at home improvement stores in no time. He rides well in the car (just needs a moment before hopping in), walks beautifully on a leash, and appears house trained. Max loves toys, affection, and being part of whatever you're doing, but he can also relax on his bed and entertain himself. He even spent a sleepover calmly snoozing at the foot of the bed all night. His favorite toy is never far, he loves carrying it around to keep his mouth busy.<br/><br/>Still puppy-like and playful, Max responds well to gentle correction and learns quickly. On outings, he's friendly with people and kids, seems good with other dogs, and confidently approaches everyone to say hello. With a little structure and consistency, Max will be an exceptional best friend, perfect for a family or as a devoted solo companion.<br/>Max has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention.
