This foxy little bundle of energy has been in the middle of a custody dispute and lived at a kennel 8 long months! He is currently in a foster home and thriving. He desperately needs to find a home to call his own. When you first meet him, you find out right away that he likes his back scratched. He can be picked up once he gets to know you but I think he is more of a jump in your lap kind of guy. <br/><br/>Max is bright and cheerful and loves to explore his surroundings. He loves to play with toys and hang out with his people. Double Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of our furry friends we ask that you complete an application (which we will forward to you) or download one from our website. We also require a vet reference check and a home visit when possible. Some of our dogs require fenced in yards while others do not. If you are interested in a dog you must e-mail the contact on each dogs petfinder page. Important Information Pertaining to Each Dog A Dogs have received the following before being available for adoption: Routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming (Puppies  6 months or younger will not have their rabies as they are too young). Spay/Neuter: All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. Heartworm: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 mon
