MAX's Story

Max is sweet older gentleman that can be a little worried, so he's hoping to go to a lower traffic home so that he can adjust and build confidence at his own pace. He'd love to spend his time hanging out at home with his people, rather than making a lot of new friends out in the world. Once he's warmed up, Max loves to show off his silly side, and has quite a bit of pep in his step for a 9 year old! Max is still polishing up some of his manners, like greeting people politely, so he'd love to go home with adopters that are excited to help him continue to make progress using positive reinforcement training. Since Max has been worried around dogs, he might be able to go home with a very mellow dog companion, but he also might also like to be your one and only! Max has no history of living with cats, but could do well with slow intros and complete separation to start.
