I keep telling him if he doesn’t hold still for a pic he will never get adopted. He’s the kid in the class that holds up bunny ears behind your head in class pictures, he’s the friend that laughs at you when you fall then extends his hand to help you up (and possibly let go just to watch you fall again!) He is such a dork and a funny guy. Each evening at supper, he gives a cute little yodel before he starts eating. I think it’s his prayers. Each night before bed, I tell him how special he is and how much he is loved and wanted. One day his family will come for him but not until the right one. So he waits patiently each day, watching me get the fluffy pups and take them to new parents, then hangs his head and lays down while anticipating those words he so longs to hear… “You’re adopted!!!” I long to say those words to him. Will you make his dream come true? Will you be the one to make his spirit perk and his tail wag? He is one of the best dogs I’ve ever known and he has so so much to give to you if only he himself is given the chance.
