Max's Story

Max - all freshly trained and ready to show off what a good boy he is!

Sweet Max is 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He is food motivated and eager to learn - he already knows basic commands and flourished in training. When he lets his fur down, Max is a wiggly snuggle bug full of love! Despite being bounced around, Max has taken it all in stride. He really is very motivated to listen - he wants to make you happy - and maybe even get a treat or two!

In February, Max was found as a stray in the big city and brought to the shelter, where he was known as Mojito. At first, Mojito totally rocked his behavioral exams and was non-reactive to other dogs. But as the months went by and he kept getting looked over at every adoption event, poor Mojito grew sadder and sadder, more and more stressed, until he was literally bouncing off his kennel walls and became at risk for euthanasia. Luckily, we were able to rescue Mojito in time. Max has always been a good boy and now he is a finely polished gentledog after being through an extensive training program.

Max is fully vetted, neutered, micro chipped, and ready to go home with YOU!
If you can open your heart & home to dear Max, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Mojito at AmsterDog.org.

Thanks for caring about a pet in need!
