MAX's Story

Meet Max! He's a 6 year old Maltese/Poodle who came to us from through our community veterinary clinic. The owner of Max (and brother Benji) could no longer care for them properly and made the difficult decision to surrender them to us. Max loves to be sit in your lap, be carried, and pet. He walks well on leash too! He would do well with another dog or as a singleton. Max is neutered, microchipped, and current on shots. Downtown Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Please submit an application online on our website. Once reviewed and approved we will arrange a meeting. If both parties feel its a good match, we set up a virtual or in-person home visit, complete the adoption contract and suggested donation of $250, and arrange a time to deliver your new companion. Please note: Our dogs are available for adoption in the greater Los Angeles area. We do not adopt out of state.
