What are we doing?” He’s the kind of pup who is always down for the ride — whether that’s romping in the yard, wrestling with his sister, tagging along with the big dogs, or racing full speed through the house before dramatically plopping down wherever he lands.

Max has a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. He thrives on activity, play, and being part of the action. In his foster home, he’s embraced pack life beautifully. He loves being close to the older dogs, especially his “big sister” Athena, and looks to them for guidance and modeling. He’s social, confident, and genuinely happy to engage with other dogs and people.

He’s crate trained like a champ and happily trots into his crate each night as part of his routine. He knows his name, responds well to redirection, and has been working hard on commands like sit, stay, come, and heel. He’s a smart boy.

Max absolutely loves toys — especially anything he can tug, chase, or carry around proudly. His happiest moments are spent playing hard, running the yard with his dog friends, or hanging close by while his people go about their day. After a full dose of fun, he’ll happily crash nearby.

Max would thrive in an active home — ideally with another playful dog — where his energy is embraced and his training continues with patience and consistency. He is happy, affectionate, entertaining, and full of potential.

If you’re looking for a joyful, energetic pup who will keep you laughing and always be ready for whatever adventure comes next — Max may just be your guy.

We never make promises about how big a puppy will get, but Max is already looking like he’s headed toward the “big dog” category — so if you love big dogs, he might just be your perfect match.

Fill out an application today to meet Max!
