Max's Story

Max came to us as an owner surrender after being with his humans his whole life. Max grew up alongside cats, another dog and children.

Max is eager to please and very smart. In addition to his basic commands, he knows tricks including “spin around”, “watch,”and “go see" (among many others!). Max has a playful side and ball is life, although he’s working on bringing the ball back! Max is an affectionate guy who loves belly rubs and always wants to be close. Max is desperately seeking a human bond and a soft place to land for his senior years. He will make a perfect addition to almost any home!
