Meet Max!

Max is a 9 month old German Shepherd mix who was rescued alongside his siblings in Dallas, TX where they were found roaming as strays (expected that they were an unwanted litter dumped!). This handsome boy weighs around 45/50 pounds and will likely be a large-sized dog once fully grown! Max has been in foster care since his rescue - and he is ready for his forever home! We are stunned that this gorgeous boy hasn't be swiped up yet.

Very similar to his siblings, Max is incredibly intelligent, sweet, and social. He loves to play in the backyard - romping around with his canine foster siblings - wrestling and chasing balls. When he isn't playing with his foster siblings, he is curled up on the couch with his foster parents.

Max's foster family has also commented that he picks up on new commands and training very quickly. With little training, he is well-behaved and has shown no sensitivities!

Max is thriving in his foster home, which includes 4 other large dogs. He loves the company of a canine companion and would do well with a buddy in his forever home! Despite his size, he is very respectful of other dogs and their boundaries. He has not yet been tested with cats or small children.

Max would love a home with a large fenced-in backyard, but it is not required if his adoptive family is active! Max walks very well on a leash and would be the perfect companion for someone who likes to hike or go on new adventures.

Max is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccines! He is ready for his forever home!
