At about 70 lbs (and still gaining to a healthy weight), he thinks he's a lap dog and loves being right in your bubble. He knows how to sit, is working on potty training, and gets along with dogs.

He really wants to be friends with cats, so a dog-savvy cat would be best. Because he doesn't realize his strength, a home with kids 10+ is recommended.

He is still learning how to just be a dog - how to relax, play appropriately, and trust that he's safe. Currently on strict rest due to heartworm treatment, he will be a very active boy once he's healed. He needs continued structure, patience, lots of love, and in return, he'll give you his whole heart.
