Max's Story
Meet Max! Max and his siblings came to us after their owner passed away. They have been grieving and adjusting to this monumental change but are now looking for the next stage of their lives. Max is a neutered male who is 5 years and 8 months old and is described as a Great Pyrenes mix. I know he doesn't really look like a GP but we met his mom and can attest that she is a GP mix! While he doesn't look much like a GP he does have the size of one! Even after he loses a few pounds he will still be an extra large boy! Max and his brother Snoopy have been living in the old shelter together and although they like the extra space for their long, long legs, both are missing the house life and couch naps. Both brothers are excellent at letting us know when someone arrives and would do well in a part time security job. They lived in a group of dogs and had exposure to cats. If you are looking for new big dog in your life, come down and meet Max!

Any questions please call 530-623-1370 option 1 to speak with shelter staff
