Max's Story
**An approved application via our website is required prior to meeting with a puppy**

Meet Max, a 12 week old mixed breed puppy who has amazed his foster parents in the short time he's been here. Max helps prep his crate at night and goes in on his own to fall asleep with the door open! He sleeps through the night, and each morning is happy and playful with a period of zoomie time that has him running laps, stuffie in his mouth, with short breaks on the fluffy couch he's learned to jump up on. After breakfast and some snuggle time, Max settles in to his foster dad's office in a pet bed with toys to keep him busy. Not a barker, Max is equally thrilled with together time and moments when he splits from everyone else to take his toys to a nest or to rest on a chair nearby. Surprisingly for his age, Max uses pee pads successfully. He knows where they are and what they are for. He poops on or nearby the mats, and he has had no accidents in other places around the house. Max let his foster mama clip his sharpie claws without incident. He loves baths, too! This little guy will make a perfect family dog for a family willing to get him through the puppy nipping phase. He seems to respond to the command "off" with the return of kisses, and trading a stuffed squeakytoy for your arms and hands is easy to manage. Max is surprisingly independent for a young pup. He doesn't whine when you leave the room. When his foster mom has to go to her upstairs office, he makes one noise and then moves off to do something else. Max has the softest ears and the bestest personality.

Apply here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AWSH/Dog

What is included in our adoption fee,
The dog will be up to date on:
*Age-appropriate vaccinations
*Deworming
*Micro chip - no annual fee
*Flea/tick prevention
*Heartworm prevention
**Spay/Neuter at our partner vet

The adoption Fee is $450
