Being from the south can mean you find yourself abandoned as just a young pup for no reason of your own! Meet Max! Lucky for him someone with a huge heart found hime. Tossed aside- Not convenient! When I got the message, video and pictures asking if we could take him into rescue I knew he was a dog that deserved so much more than his fate. The video of him running past the person trying to help him and then u-turning back just wanting badly for this to be real was all it took for him to steal my heart. <br/><br/>Currently with my rescue partner in NC Max is being cared for and learning about living in a home. He's traveled with his foster visiting friends, he's interacted with her dogs, foster dogs, friends dogs and done well with them all. He is a great dog. Cute, social, smart and so willing to learn. <br/><br/>Max is initially shy but comes around so quickly with affection and gentle direction. He has a gentle soulful expression that hound owners know and love! There is not a mean bone in this dogs body! He lives with several other dogs and enjoys engagement showing a well tempered pup who will make someone a good family member. Athletic, smart and so ready for a family. <br/><br/>If you're ready to fall in love, this boy's as sweet as they come and ready for you to!
