Hello! My name is Max and I am available for adoption! I came to RASKC as an owner surrender because my previous owner could no longer care for me. He had nothing but wonderful things to say about me! Mostly that I love everyone I meet. I am a big boy at 70 lbs and am fully grown! I know how big I am and mind my manners around folks of all sizes. I am a very smart dog! I came to the shelter kowing how to sit, lay, kennel up and stay. I am working in my leash manners. When ecxited I can pull but am really good at listening to whoever is walking me when I need to tone it down a bit. I genrally leave a loose leash for whoever is walking with me but can improve a little. I have lived with kiddos as young as 3 and do well but will need supervision and slow intos when in new home. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! I am good at not jumping up on folks but I would like to lay next to you, or on you, and give you lots of kisses. I love pats, butt and eat scratches, and meeting new people to love! I will most likely to great in a home wtih lots of visoters or going everywhere with you! My previous caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other dogs When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.
