Mavis

Mavis is a 15 month old (as of Jan) absolute beauty! Shiny black coat, sleek build. Mavis came from a home of neglect and abuse…water and food withheld, and punishment for not peeing on command. Foster home is teaching her there is consistency in meals being served and water being offered and love being given. She could really use a home that is gentle and patient and shows her how great life can be. She is getting used to positive occasions on a leash, and car rides that are not scary. She is extremely loving and wants to please, pancakes to the floor when she thinks she’s in trouble. <br/>She is an absolute beauty, still needs to learn some basic manners (not jumping)but in a very positive reinforcement way. <br/>She is cat, dog, kid friendly but would be better for older/taller kids due to jumping and needing only gentle hands after living with abuse.
