Maverick's Story

Meet Maverick. This boy has had a rough life. He was found in Memphis as a stray by someone. We were going to take him into Lifehouse. He got out of their fencing, and ended up at Memphis Animal Services, a high kill shelter. We then got him out of there and now he is with Lifehouse and in boarding with us. The boarding owners say he is the best boy! He gets along with other dogs, all people and has been around kids. This is a gem of a boy. He is ready for his forever home. His birthday is estimated at 7/9/21, so he is 2 years and 10 months as of May 2024. <br/> This poor guy is back from a trial it wasn’t the right fit no fault of his .. he loves to ride in the car . Maverick needs to be adopted with another dog female in house <br/>The adoption fee is $350. This covers all the vetting including neuter, all shots which consists of rabies, Bordetella, and Parvo/distemper shots, heartworm test and microchip. Maverick did test positive for heartworms. Life House Animal Refuge And Rehabilitation's Adoption Policy

Complete an application by clicking on the adoption application link box to the right. We ask for two personal references and a vet reference. We will do a home visit. We charge a $350 - $500 fee for dogs and a $125 fee for cats. This fee covers their medical needs, including spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, and deworming.
