Howdy, my name is Maverick and I'm a special guy looking for a furever home. I'm a pretty laid-back Labrador mix and I've previously lived with cats, dogs, and older children. I'm special in that I love going for a swim in a pool but I must use a life jacket to prevent any accidents. I'm also a sucker for a hike and will gladly trot down a trail with you when the weather is nice. Despite this, I don't do well with stairs and if you live in an apartment, it'll need to be on the ground floor. But wait, that's not all, I had a successful surgery to repair my megaesophagus and I come with a special elevated feeder. After all is said and done, I'm a super cuddle bug and I like to lounge around all day, when it's not time for my potty breaks.
