Meet Maverick! <br/><br/>*** This Pets adoption fee has been sponsored, meaning there is no cost to adopt them from us!***<br/><br/>He is estimated to be between 2-4yrs old. <br/><br/>This handsome boy is looking for a new forever home! <br/><br/>Maverick is apart of a hoarding case we recently took on where there were about 30 Husky mixes living in one home in Holland, Michigan. Unfortunately the owner passed away, and prior to his passing he suffered from some physical and mental health issues that made it difficult for him to pick up after so many dogs and he struggled to give them away when they were puppies as he didn’t want to separate the moms from their babies. Mavericks former owner truly loved all of the dogs in his care, and they all loved him. When we arrived at the house to remove the dogs, there was a TV playing the opening theme song/menu of the movie “Top Gun” on repeat, hence Mavericks name! <br/><br/>These pups are not your typical “Hoarding” case dogs as they are all very sweet, well mannered and well behaved, they are crate trained (Maverick should have a plastic crate vs a metal wire one), they know some basic commands, and they understand the concept of potty training! (Although we never guarantee that a pup will not have accidents going into a new environment) <br/><br/>Maverick is fixed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative and started on preventatives! <br/><br/>He is good with other dogs (we would recommend a home with female dogs) and is good with kids. However we do not believe he is good with cats and would chase them. <br/><br/>To inquire about adopting this very sweet boy, please email us or follow the prompts through petfinder to fill out an application
