Hi, meet Maverick!

This 1 year old (as of Feb 2024) Mountain Cur was rescued from a neglect situation, but is an incredibly sweet boy! He's a bit timid at first when in a new space with new folks, but it doesn't take long for him to get to know a friendly face and he has shown to be a well behaved boy that is great around other pups, cats, and people of all ages!

Maverick loves being outside and going on hikes and would make a fantastic buddy for people who also enjoy the outdoors a lot. He would make a great adventure dog/companion and for sure will be helping you to explore some new trails this spring. He's working on practicing his selfie game, but we're getting there so that he can join you for all of your social media posts and become internet famous one day (or, ya know, just look cute for your family and friends).
