This buff guy is Maverick, a young adult dog found stray and never reclaimed. Maverick has been a good boy since his arrival and a pleasant visitor but we hope his stay isn't a long one. Pit Bull type breeds tend to stay in shelters so long that they begin to deteriorate simply for being misjudged simply based on their looks. It's a sad story that repeats itself in shelters frequently. Let's not make Maverick another victim of shelter rot.<br/>Maverick is strong and smart, willing to learn new tricks for treats.
