Meet Maverick! <br/><br/>Maverick is a fun-loving, energetic pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. He absolutely adores playing with other dogs and can’t resist a good toy. He plays wonderfully with children and brings a happy, playful spirit wherever he goes.<br/><br/>While Maverick has lots of puppy energy, he also has a sweet, cuddly side and enjoys snuggling on the couch once he’s had his playtime. He’s doing great with crate training—he willingly goes into his crate during the day and sleeps through the night in it like a champ.<br/><br/>Maverick is currently working on leash walking and improving every day. He’s very food-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience. He’s also learning his “off” button—when he gets overstimulated, his foster helps him settle by calmly standing still with him on leash until he relaxes. Once he sighs and settles, he gets quiet affection, which helps him stay calm and relaxed.<br/><br/>Bonus perk? Maverick loves car rides and is always ready for an adventure!<br/><br/>Maverick would thrive in a home that enjoys playtime, positive training, and plenty of love—because he has so much love to give in return.
