Maven's Story
Hi there. I'm Maven. I am 8 years old and I weigh around 7lbs. I am a Chihuahua mix. Now that we're done with my stats, let's talk about the fun stuff. I am a whole lot of fun. I am a great apartment dog because I am quiet as a church mouse. Even my bark is quiet (I may have had my vocal cords shaved, I don’t remember). I am not difficult to take care of, but there are some things that you need to know. I can walk, sometimes, but most of the times I drag my back legs. BUT I love my wheels and get around so well in them. I have a bullet in my back that cannot be removed. It doesn't hurt, but it causes me to be partially incontinent and expressing my bladder periodically is necessary, and very easy to do. I love to hang out with pups my size. I can walk on my own, but I have to be reminded to “walk.” Doing this helps with my muscle memory. Car rides, riding in a stroller, and using my wheels when out with others are the bestest fun ever. Once a routine has been created on how to care for me, life is good and routine is easy. I am looking for a forever family or my very own. Lizzy's is very good at helping you get used to a sweet pup like me, so I hope you will give me a try. You will be glad you did. Email Lizzy’s at lizzyshospice@gmail.com with any questions.
